I love birds especially bluebirds,parrots & eagles. we have dark eyed juncos, american crows, a cardinal & house finches in our yard. the cardinal, juncos & house finches love black oil sunflower seeds. it is 35.6°f outside here right now. Today I read from the book Pioneers and Patriots. I drew a picture of a sod house. Sod houses is what pioneers from Norway lived in. There weren't many trees in the Great Plains, so they used sod to build houses. I also learned about Leonardo Da Vinci. I changed the computer wallpaper to a picture of the Mona Lisa.

Hello Birdman! I love birds too. We have lots of cardinals and bluejays here too. I like the bluejays but they tend to be a little mean and run off any other pretty birds that want to visit. My oldest boy loves the male cardinals because they are red. The cardinal is the state bird here. Can you guess what state we are? (Hint...your mommy knows!)

ReplyDeleteWe have several hawks. It's cool to watch them fly. We also have a ton of robins in the springtime. I dislike turkey vultures more than any other kind of bird.

We have some pine cone feeders to set out today. My boys LOVE to watch the little birds come peck at their peanut butter and bird seed. Thanks for sharing these with us!

ReplyDeleteWe love birds here to you know! Today we are going to put out our bird feeders. I will try to take pics. Our Birdgal is hoping that some Cardinals will stop by. We have a great pic of the male cardinal that I'll try to remember to post sometime.
